What a beautiful day!
We went to the Recycle Depot, and then to the Transfer station and landfill on our field trip. It snowed the whole time, making it beautiful. And we sure learned a lot:) *Students completed their worksheets at school upon our return, and submitted them for marking.

After lunch, Robbie presented his Immigration project about his Grandpa from Italy.
Then students performed their French conversation skits. *There will be a matching quiz on the related vocabulary tomorrow.
We also had some time to do some math. After the timed subtraction drill, we reviewed identifying decimals and fractions on a number line. This package is due tomorrow; some students finished it last night.
For those who finished their math already, students were assigned a picture grid to create. They need to include a legend, then calculate the fractions, decimals, and percents of each colour used.
