Another full day...:) I am very tired so will keep it brief.
Math - marked the three pages of placing decimals and fractions on a number line. Most of the kids are really getting it now. We will have a mini-quiz Friday so that I can check their understanding.
A grid picture was assigned; students identify the fraction, decimal, and percent of a certain colour in their picture (10 X 10 grid = 100 pixels).
French - Students wrote their Conversation Quiz today. I am looking forward to seeing how they did!
Socials - We continued reading, highlighting, and discussing the "Liberals Triumph in Federal Election" article from last week. The students are really showing an interest in the aspects we are discussing. Largely, these are big "grown-up" topics so I am amazed at their interest. Maybe not everybody is so keen:)
This afternoon, Cst. Sharp came in for DARE, Lesson #4. The kids learned about Resistance Strategies to avoid peer pressure. Ask them what the five are.
