Library with Mrs. Tomm - Students spent the morning finishing their reflective journals about Scratch, the coding program that they have been learning these past several weeks, and planning their project for this coding unit. Students will have until Spring Break to complete these projects (that's two more class sessions of 1.5 hours each, and some extra time when possible).
French - We did the last of the French booklet presentations today! I hope the kids enjoyed the project as much as I did:)
Hard & Fast Rules: Quotation Marks * We looked at the rules for this after marking our Apostrophe w/sheet from yesterday. Check your child's Interactive Notebook for the list of rules and examples!
This afternoon, we did an Atlas Assignment about Canada's Energy and Mineral Resources; most finished during the generous amount of time given.
After that, we headed to the computer lab to
a) finish EdHeads, compound machines
b) do some research for their upcoming Mining Project, or
c) go onto Mathletics
The March Newsletter went home today, so look for that.
