Wednesday, March 2, 2016

Well, if March comes in like a lion, it will go out like a lamb.  It's something to look forward to:)

Today was another busy day.
We started off our morning marking the graphs package from yesterday; we exchanged and marked.
There is no math homework for tonight:)

The nets were up for volleyball today so the kids practiced underhand serving, and short volleys over the net.  Their skills are improving already!

We did most of our French presentations today, some after P.E., and the rest that were ready in the afternoon.  While students presented their booklet, others took turns asking the question, "Qu'est-ce que tu as?"  I will be marking all booklets for spelling and matching colours to masculine / feminine nouns.

Language Arts - Interactive Notebook - We first marked the Commas worksheet from yesterday, then went over the Hard & Fast Rules of Apostrophes; there is a worksheet for this that is due tomorrow.  Students were given some class time to get started on this.

We also continued reading and discussing the story, I am a Mining Engineer, and finished the package.
*There will be a mining project to do with this.  See below for the description and criteria for the research project.  Please sign your child's form indicating that you are aware of the project.

Please note: There will be some class time provided for research, but not for actually putting the project together.

A notice about Lice was sent home today.  Please read it. (It's bright yellow)
