Happy Friday!
We started our day with an Assembly, after which we had Library book exchange and silent reading.
At the assembly, students learned about the up-coming Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser; they have an envelope for collecting, and a skipping rope for practicing. *Students are encouraged to collect donations online, if possible, because they can earn bonuses. Thank you for your support.
In math, we marked Wednesday's pp 85 -6; another front and back page of metric conversions was assigned to be completed for Monday.
We finished the mining presentations today! We saw Power Points by Alexa and Devyn (Tumbler Ridge), Sawyer and Austin (Silverton), and Hope (Snap Lake), who had also built a diorama.
We ended our day creating birds from pulp:) Ask your child about this!
*Something weird is going on... I can't insert a photo of the Assignment Check. Everyone is caught up with the two assignments I wanted handed in. Yay! A reminder for some to bring in their Math homework assignment (recording various lengths, capacities, and masses of items in the home), and to get their sheet signed for the Independent Novel Study project.
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone.
