Here's our day, in a nutshell:
We started off doing matrix stations. The grade sevens taught the rest of the students in the school how to behave at various locations through the school and grounds. They reinforced the students' learning of CPE's RAISE (see front of agenda).
After recess, we went straight to gym and played Soccer Skittles.
In math, students played some more games to reinforce digital roots. They were also shown how to check addition facts using digital roots. Get them to show you how it works!!
After lunch, students filled in their agendas before reading silently for a period of time. Then we continued with the oral presentations (beads on string); we have just two more for Monday.
Finally, students worked on the Thank You cards they are making.
