Typing: Master Key program - Students are continuing to practice their keyboarding skills.
Library with Mrs. Tomm - Students have been extracting important information from text. Today, they took the highlighted facts and put them onto an organization sheet. They also wrote the first paragraph, taking the facts and putting them into their own words. (See photo)
After recess, students filled in their Agendas and I read more from Fatty Legs.
Then they were off to music with Mr. Redding.
After lunch, we added to our Math Interactive Notebooks: Place Value - Whole Numbers. We also revisited the strategies from last week, then practiced adding numbers to 9. They may have to finish the sums at home, because it was time for P.E., where we played Zombie Outbreak! (Hallowe'en is coming!!)
