Good evening!

We started our day bring our art accordion books up to date and writing a journal entry about our art experiences thus far.  I look forward to reading what the kids have enjoyed and what they are most proud of.

After that we had some time to finish up answering the questions about the story "Hallowe'en Leftovers" that we read yesterday.  We discussed some aspects of the story, and students were asked to highlight interesting words from the story for review tomorrow.

After recess we did another 'adding to nine' drill (Boy, these guys are getting fast!), and added candy corn to our Interactive Notebooks.  Actually, it was all about representing numbers: standard form, expanded form, and word form:)

Then it was time for P.E., with Mr. Pfeiffer.

After lunch, Tina came in and together we made wet-felted bookmarks with the kids.  I have included a few photos from our afternoon, and a quick selection of partially finished ones.  We will be doing some needle felting with these next week, adding to them and securing the wool a little better. The kids had to draw or describe their bookmark so that we would know whose is whose:)

That's it:)  Enjoy your evening.
