Math - We started with a drill, then added notes about Digital Roots and Complements of Ten to our Math Interactive Notebooks. Students then wrote an 'Adding single-digit columns by first making tens' quizette:) When done, they completed their Agendas before playing some card games.
After recess, we added Whole Body Listening to our Social Thinking notebook. We didn't get to the "Coping with Boring Moments" that was on the Agenda, but will do it next time.
Mrs. O'Neill came into our class to discuss Reconciliation with the kids. We watched several short videos and had some great discussions about Residential Schools.
Then it was lunch, followed by a long session of basketball in the gym.
We returned to the class to write a journal entry, exchange books at the library, and do some silent reading before the end of the day. Some students also managed to tidy up their cubbies in the classroom:)
