Welcome back, everyone.  I hope you had a relaxing weekend. This is our day, in a nutshell:

Master Key (typing program); kids are practicing using the correct fingers on the keyboard.

Library with Mrs. Tomm - Main Ideas and Supporting Details cont.  After some practice and review, we also looked at Summarizing. Students added notes in their LA Interactive Notebook.

After recess, I lay out the internal organs of a Ruffed Grouse my son shot over the weekend.  Most students checked it out, and could feel the rocks in the crop.

Before we knew it, it was time for Music with Mr. Redding, then Lunch!

After lunch, we had Math.  We started our Measurement unit by learning about some of the history of how units of measure came to be.  Ask your child!

Then it was time for clean up before P.E., where we played a quick game of Soccer Skittles.

Notices:  Photo RETAKES tomorrow, if interested.
BOOK FAIR Wednesday! -volunteers still needed:)
Pizza lunch forms also went home (bright orange) today.
