Good day, Folks!
We began our day in the computer lab, with the following task priority:
1) Master Key (20 minutes or so)
2) Finish flora / fauna choice - explaining about its connection to salmon; print it off
3) Mathletics for remainder of the time
After recess, the students were introduced to idioms. They worked together on their packages; some may have a bit more to do at home but it will be fun! See how many you remember?
Next, students who hadn't finished their onomatopoeia art projects completed those before lunch.
Those students who were all caught up, they had the opportunity to work on their ABC books about salmon.
After lunch, we went to P.E., and played badminton. I am noticing some improvement already.
Upon our return to the class, the math (metric) quizzes were returned and reviewed. We will practice some more word problems, (especially when converting all things to the same unit of measure in order to compare), and working with t-tables. There will be a rewrite on Monday for any student who scored less than 20/37.
Finally, we had a bit of time for book exchange at the end of the day.
