We went into the gym first thing for a special Earth Day activity organized by Ms. Bouvette and the Grade Sevens.  After picking up garbage around the school yard, students created art using natural objects on the ground.  I don't have any photos to show here but watch for them on the school's site or Mr. Pfeiffer's tweets.

When we came in we had time for a quick math drill before it was recess time.

After recess, we went to PE to do some volleyball drills (bumping), then to Music.  I gave up my prep to watch the kids learn a new song and to see what they were doing with "I Will Survive!"  All is wonderful.

This afternoon was Exploration Friday so my crew did Exploration Art.  We finished up some "Zen Men" (see below),  then drew and painted some crayon-resist feathers.  They need to be outlined once they are dry so photos will be posted next time.
