Happy Monday!
We started out this morning with a math drill (division facts) and graphing the results. Sometimes after a Monday the scores are lower but several students got their personal best today!
Next, we watched a MathAntics video about Prime Factorization (which was mostly review) and did some worksheets. These aren't difficult, they just take practice as we train our brains to think differently. *The package is due tomorrow!

Jackie brought in some bones that she had found over the weekend. The whole class put together a
100-piece floor puzzle about the human skeletal system, then tried to figure out what types of bones Jackie had brought in. Then Aiden showed us an orca scapula (shoulder blade) that his family had found in the Broken Islands one summer.
After recess, students did a variety of things: finished math, did Agendas, and worked on tree poems.
Then it was off to music class with Mr. Redding to work some more on our songs. "They are sounding beautiful," one staff member told me.
While they were at music I went to RSS to get the clay salmon from the kiln; they are now ready to glaze.
After lunch, we had library where we started to learn about learning, and explore one's preferred learning styles.
Back to the classroom to clean up before heading to P.E., and then it was the end of the day before we knew it.
Enjoy your evening!
