Tuesday April 25, 2017

We started out with a plan but things happened; here's our very busy day...

Mr. Smith came in as TTOC for Mrs. Strange who normally comes in to support our art efforts in the class.  This morning the kids painted the black outlines on two of our banners.  Other students added the graphics for three more roots to their Interactive Notebook: graph, hydr, and ject.  We will add the definitions and examples tomorrow.  Once these were cut out and glued into their books, some students finished math from yesterday (prime factorization) while others worked on their French booklets (la date) which are due tomorrow.  Jackie and Autumn helped tremendously as I stuck each of them at a banner and they were in charge of showing the others what to do!  Thank you!!

After recess, Mr. Pfeiffer did the Ministry's satisfaction survey; the kids used iPads to complete them.

Then, we glazed the clay spawners which I brought back from the RSS kiln yesterday. They are now packed up again and ready to go back to RSS tomorrow for another firing.

After lunch, we headed outside for P.E. (Capture the Flag) in the field, then back in to the computer lab to type up the Tree poems students have been working on.

That, Folks, was our very busy day.
