Hi folks. Sorry I missed Friday, but here's today.
The kids started their day with Mr. Redding and Music class.
Back with me, they wrote their first art reflection... self-assessing their "complementary lizard" project and compliment from earlier in the year. Then we went over their spelling quiz from last Thursday, reviewing spelling rules and patterns. I assigned 13 new words; these are in their Agendas in the Saturday & Sunday spaces.
In math, we didn't get to the 'Place Value cont.', but did the perimeter worksheet. We will review the names of the polygons tomorrow. I also sent home a "Reading Numbers" sheet so that they can practice reading large numbers to you. Please sign this once they are able to read them perfectly, and return it to school (hopefully by Friday). The kids will test with me once their sheet is returned.
The lights were out at school for about an hour today, but we did manage to get all of the Coat of Arms presentations done before library book exchange at the end of the day.
