Next we went to PE and played badminton, practicing switching our grip for underhand, backhand and forehand. We even managed to play silently for several minutes!! It was lovely.
When we returned, we worked on our "How to be..." art project until some students from RSS came to our class to have the kids complete a survey on ipads. They will be sharing the results of the survey with the DPAC eventually.
After recess we marked / reviewed the Area Model package that had been reassigned Monday; still it was not completed by the majority of the students. This, of course, makes the "review" less meaningful as one can't check his/her errors of understanding if they have nothing to check it against.
We also added a couple of things to our Interactive Notebooks. I will include photos tomorrow once we have done some more.
This afternoon, the kids had music with Mr. Redding and Library with Mrs. Tomm (and me!). The students will be learning about Indigenous legends and retelling a legend of their choice through a form of drama. Specifics of this project will be sent home after next week.
