Friday 13th, April 2018

Happy Friday 13th!

 Here's our crazy day:

We started with Buddy Reading, but before reading, the kids got crazy with decorations for their bodies and hair!  I managed to get a couple of photos but not before several students undid their craziness:)

In French, we explored some basic verb conjugation, just to give the students an idea about how it is different than in the English language.  We learned that sometimes we use "joue" to play a sport (page 1) and sometimes we use "fais" (page 2).  Some activities don't use jouer or faire with them, they have their own verb (page 3).  Next, we made our usual eight-page folded booklet, and wrote the question "Qu'est-ce que tu fais?" as a title and on each page.  On Monday we will continue answering this question ("What are you doing?") using various activities.

In math, we marked the graphs booklet, then did some tenths and hundredths activities using some visuals.  We will continue these together Monday as well.

This afternoon was Exploration Friday again, so the students went to their chosen activity.

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
