Hello, folks.  I forgot my camera / phone so no visuals to accompany this entry, but here's our day:

After Music with Mr. Redding, we had the pleasure of listening to guests from Vancouver Technical High School.  They played and sang a variety of pieces for us on their way to Banff.

After recess, we did a fair bit of math.  We started a new multiplication drill sheet (no division on this one); Letter E.  Tomorrow we will do F and then set up a new double-bar graph to monitor progress.

We also worked through three pages of a review package about tenths and hundredths.  Pages 207-209 are due tomorrow.

We played baseball in PE today.  Some of the kids are ball players, others are still learning the game.

After lunch, we read about the Arctic Lowlands.  Students have one paragraph to write in the package, as well as create a Venn Diagram to compare the kayak to the umiak.  This is also due tomorrow.

Lastly, the Earth Day Contest was explained to the kids.  They are to draw or paint an aspect of nature worth celebrating or promoting in Revelstoke or the surrounding area. I have the postage stamp template on which it is to be created.

*Tomorrow morning, we will be going to AHE to encourage our Battle of the Books students!  Don't be late for school!

This series of workshops for students and parents is coming up.  See the details on the poster, if interested.
