Good day, folks. It's just a quick one today.
Here it is:
We actually got a lot done. We learned about plate tectonics and the earth's moving plates. This concept of continents moving around over time is new to the kids so they were keen to learn about it.
Students also worked on a 'graphs' package. this involved gleaning information from three different graphs, and then creating a fourth graph using information provided. *All four graphs are to be done for tomorrow.
Also in math, students wrote decimals for various points along a number line. We checked this together in class. The back side of this sheet involved converting fractions, decimals and writing these numbers out in words. This is also due tomorrow.
*We did not do the task cards that was written in the Agenda; we'll save this for tomorrow.
Instead, I read from REFUGEE. The kids are enjoying this story, or rather three stories in one!
We played baseball in PE and had fun to end our day.
