We started right away (not brain dance warmup) with "Character Traits Tuesday", then were called to a special presentation called "Bring the Noise"! The students really enjoyed the presentation; I will try to upload a short video.
That took us to recess.
Following recess, we continued working on the Greek and Latin Roots package from yesterday. Kudos to those who worked out the crossword puzzle!
For math, we continued the addition drills that we began yesterday, students adding their results to their bar graph. Some improved from yesterday, some did not; that's the way things go some days:)
Next, we added some more notes to our Math Interactive Notebook (see photos).
After lunch and Plangendas, students finished up their Halloween pictures and began painting rocks to create pumpkins. We will finish these tomorrow.
