First thing this morning we finished reading A Bloom of Friendship and discussing the relationship
between Holland and Canada, and why there are thousands of tulips gracing Parliament Hill in Ottawa.
During Library with Ms. Draboczi, students finished exploring the differences between Fiction and Non-fiction literature.
After recess and P.E., with Mr. Cadegan, students continued developing their addition fluency with Drills That Thrill, and practicing making tens when adding columns of numbers.
This afternoon, we read another war time true story: The Secret fo the Village Fool.
Following that, we worked on three different mini art pieces that will be mounted as a trio. One of the pieces is having the student draw Canada's latest Remembrance Day coin - a toonie.
