Good evening, folks!  Here's a quick look at our day:

After voting on which "Christmas Around the World" countries to focus on, students began colouring a world map depicting six main biomes in the world.

Then off to Library where they started a new book using Book Creator, this time it is about Landforms.  Using their matching activity sheets from yesterday, students took photos from books, added these to their Book Creator book, included a caption for each, and recorded themselves reading the definition for the landform.  We will have a bit more time to work on these tomorrow.

P.E. today was outside to take full advantage of all the beautiful snow that we have been getting!

We didn't get to our subtraction practice because we played 3-digit Yahtzee.  The kids had fun doing this!  Ask them how to play.

After lunch, Plangendas, and a quick two-sentence spelling dictation, students drew maps of an island, incorporating as many of the 20 landforms we have looked at.  The following are a few examples thus far.
