Good afternoon!  Here's a look at our exciting day:

We started our day reading letters from our partner class in Campbell River; we will be teaching each other about the biome in which we live.  The students chose letters from C.R. students to whom they will write as our year progresses.

Then off to P.E. with Mr. Cadegan!

After recess, Matt visited our class to talk about the up-coming Nordic Skiing program; the grade fours from Mrs. Gadbois's class joined us.  The grade threes in our class stayed for the presentation although they will be doing downhill skiing / boarding later this month. The grade fours were fitted for boots, and a reminder of what to wear on ski days was reviewed.  Our first day is the 17th (Friday) for Nordic, and the 14th for Alpine.

We had some 'Ketchup and Pickles' time before marking / reviewing the subtraction math from yesterday.  We also started working on the next page of the package; we will continue tomorrow.

After lunch, we did a matching activity that defined different landforms, added snow to our moose from before the break, and had Book Exchange at the end of the day.
