We had another super day with lots of learning taking place!
Students were introduced to the brain and some of its main parts. They created models using modelling clay, then labeled the parts. This is the first in our unit about the nervous system. We will continue to develop our vocabulary and understanding of the brain and how it works in future lessons.

In the afternoon, we watched another short video about soil types and soil horizons. Students completed a worksheet based on this video, and drew and labeled the soil horizons. This supported our earlier learning from Not Just Dirt! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ob2AMqZMLiw
