We had another terrific day - with five students today! Here's what we did:
We started the morning tuning into the inauguration of the United States president and vice-president. Students also did some multiplication facts puzzles while they watched / listened to President Joe Biden's long speech.
Then we got right to it, reviewing similes and completing some worksheets.
Math was cut a bit short due to students cooking up some lunch for us! They have been working very hard lately so we decided yesterday to have lunch together today: soup and grilled cheese. Yummy! [See photos below.]
This afternoon, students had Culture with Ema and Isaiah down at the Big House.
Upon their return, they gathered up the recycling and compost from around the school.
