Happy Wednesday -
We had three students again today, and one student joining our Zoom meeting this morning for Math. We reviewed telling the time using both analogue and digital clocks, how to say the time, and what it means (how to interpret digital time). Pages 4 and 6 have been assigned for tomorrow; page 5 can then be cut up to play the practice game.
Also this morning we read Not Just Dirt! a Read and Understand, Science Gr 3-4 article (Evan-Moor Corp. 2002). We highlighted key bits of information, made notes on the pages, then answered the questions. This is to be handed in for marking. *If you look at the pictures below, you can highlight et cetera on your own package. The pocket chart contains key vocabulary and ideas from the article about soil.
This afternoon, the students participated in a "welcoming the salmon eggs ceremony". They also listened to some origin stories.
Please try to keep up with assignments that are missed; students are still expected to complete them.
